The best tile cutter is Felker TS-40 Rubi Tile Cutter from Felker. Many pros use it and many of my friends recommend it. Most people own it for more than five years. It has a built in separator for easy use. It has a maximum cutting length of 17 inches and a 9/16-inch maximum separating capacity. The tool can make cuts as small as 3/4? and it has amazing accurate cuts.
The standard set when you buy it from Amazon includes standard scoring wheel punching tool, a 45 degree mitering tool, and double-walled anti-shock plastic case. It is light so easy to maneuver with.

I have been using the Rubi TS-40 for 10 years. “The same cutter!” I just replaced mine (I still have the original to let helpers use or as a spare) only to find improvements. The breaker bar is better held in place, the adjustable gauge is longer, and the case is much improved! What’s not to love!, if you are a pro, it’s worth the investment, buy it. I often make cuts as small as 3/4″ with this cutter. I use only this cutter for wall tile and on floors up to 16″ straight laid. I even list it on my website as a must have tool for pros.
I found the felker ts 40 to be a very handy cutter. It was very easy to use and cuts could be made very quickly. For the vast majority of the time the cuts were quite straight. On just a few tiles the cut at the lower end of the tile had a very slight curve. I was still able to use the cut tile. For very narrow cuts(two inches or less) it was extremely difficult to get a precise cut. For those cuts I had to use the wet saw.
